I've missed so much by not being around for so long

. But enough about that! Let us discuss other matters.
I have the same schedule as last semester!

And that makes me very happy, since I don't have to worry about writing the right class period down or remembering another schedule and trying to write over the one from last semester. It's still just as much work, though.

We had to read
A Farewell to Arms over the winter break, and as soon as we got back, it was
Chronicle of a Death Foretold. Chronicle I really liked, personally, even though it got a bit repetitive after a while. It wasn't like Farewell to Arms, where nothing was explained when everything needed to be, then it was described in great detail about little trivial matters. Personal prefrence, I guess. But Farewell to Arms was one of only three books that I didn't like this school year.

And we have awesome music this semester in band! We have one piece that we played before called "In All Its Glory", which I am
completely enamored with!

It got us a Superior once before in a festival competition, and I'm hoping for a similar run again. And with a lot of people who really don't like music finally getting the hell out of band, it's looking great again.

We have another piece named "On the Wings of Swallows" which is also hella pretty and has me almost as excited as I am for In All Its Glory. It's a close tie.

Speaking of music...
IN CONCERT XI!!!

In Concert is the honors concert for our school district and brings in the best musicians from all six of our schools. There are four groups - orchestra, choir, jazz band, and symphonic band. I auditioned for symphonic band, and if you audition, you're guarunteed a chair in the concert - and I am SO SO SO EXCITED! We play amazing music, and for the past two years, I've been in it. This year I hope to play my e-flat clarinet again for one song, and play my b-flat for the other songs. But whatever happens, I'll be happy about it, and be overjoyed to play in such an amazing concert again.
I'll be seeing you around, for sure.

you can look back on all the notes you took in school
all the paper, all the lead, all the ink
but you'll realize that
the only notes you need are
musical notes
you seem to be a music lover.. do you play any instruments?
I play clarinet mainly, but sax as well every once in a while
